Life Lessons

Bonjour! Greetings from Paris!....Ya I wish, greetings from Finglas.

So as I mentioned last week this week was all about the body. I was never so motivated to work out and even converted the spare room into a little gym, I was up and at \'em every morning, eating healthy all day everyday and then another work out in before bed and all that lasted a whole of 5 days! Yesterday it was back to enchiladas for breakfast, chocolate for lunch and anything greasy for dinner! Not to fear though the Olympics isn\'t for another 4 years so once this one is over we wont have to be depressed about our lack of six packs until then! Swiftly moving on I received an email this week from Sean Montague who runs Miss Ireland about doing a press call as Miss Carlow opening a new Dealz store in Carlow on the 25th. Looking forward to visiting Carlow again and don\'t forget to watch out for me in the local papers, I\'l be the giant shivering with the cold in one of my DropdeadGorjess dresses (nice plug there wink wink). So still no luck on the job front thanks to Dublin\'s populations of about 15 billion all having degrees in brain surgery, no one wants to employ the college drop out so today\'s lesson kids-ALWAYS STAY IN SCHOOL! Not to fear though as I think this will be great in years to come when I right my autobiography \'\'From Center Field to Center Fold-The Ciara Allen Story\'\'. I can write about my struggle to survive as an aspiring model and it will be a great scene too in the movie about my life. It hasn\'t been confirmed yet but Will Smith is said to be taking the lead role as \'Ciara Allen\'.

If you follow me on Twitter or befriended me on Facebook then you will know that this week I got to interview Geordie Shores Greg Lake who will also be starring in this years Celeb Salon which is starting in Septemeber. It all came about when he followed me weeks back on Twitter and the tweeted me telling me I was funny, so second lesson of the day boys and girls if you cant get by on intelligence and looks-ALWAYS BE FUNNY! I then cheekily directed him to my blog and asked him for an interview. Greg stated he was sick of the same interview questions about his time in Ireland and the romance between himself and Nadia Forde, hence why my interview questions are a bit unusual! If you haven\'t read it already here is the link as I know tweeting, updating your Facebook status and watching the Olympics is quite difficult to do simultaneously so I\'ll make it easy for you (Read Gregs Interview HERE!). Also this week I made it into Dark Beauty Magazine from a shoot I did when I was with Pulse Models back home in Cork. The shoot was for the talented designer Alice Halliday and was shot by one of the best photographers in Cork Michael O Sullivan. Sadly I have no pictures to post as it is an American magazine and the flights are just too expensive to go and buy one over there.

Well I think that\'s all from this week. However I cant go without mentioning our Irish boxers over at the Olympics and congratulate them on their success so far. Katie Taylor is my new inspiration, great to see girls not only involved with sports but also being so well respected in that sport. I can only dream of a day when I don\'t hear the words \'\'get those camogie players off the good pitch!!!\'\'. Rumor has it she\'s retiring as a boxer after the Olympics and that Catherine Allen from the Na Piarsaigh Junior B camogie section has already been onto her about playing full back for championship next year.

Good luck and God bless!
Ciara xx
